Order process
We always working on improving the ordering process to ensure a faster turnaround time. Please allow up to 3-4 days for artworks to be prepared and shipped.
Currently, small item orders can be processed and shipped within 2 days depending on the volume of orders. Original artworks take a little more time as they are carefully packed and signed. Exceptions are during holidays, unforeseen circumstances, Force Majeur or otherwise stated.
Payment method
We accept Paypal. Credit and debit cards are also accepted and processed through Paypal.
Shipping and Packaging
Artist ship all orders from Belgium. Domestic shipping usually takes around 2-5 business days while international shipping may take 2-4 weeks or on rare occasions up to 6-8 weeks depending on your location and circumstances.
We try our best to ship using ecofriendly materials by lessening the usage of plastic but still being able to protect your orders. You may notice changes in material usage as we constantly try to improve it.
All packages have a tracking number. International shipping always includes insurance up to a certain amount only and the cost may vary depending on the location and the package weight. If you would like to purchase more insurance or request a different shipping method, contact me separately within 24 hours of purchase so I can provide a quotation.
Shipping address:
If there’s an error in your address and we haven’t shipped out your order yet, kindly send an email to va.belgium@gmail.com with your name, order number and corrected address. If the order has been fulfilled, unfortunately we can no longer change its destination. Any additional shipping expenses incurred to resend the item will be incurred by the customer.
Liability
Any additional expenses when the package reaches your country (custom and tax fees) are the responsibility of the customer.
If the item is reported lost, we will file a claim to the courier (usually takes 30 days) and return the total insured amount that can be claimed, minus the shipping fees.
Please remember that only items with insurance can file a claim.
If the item was not claimed and was shipped back to me, the buyer would have to shoulder the new or additional shipping cost to reship the item.
Other concerns will be handled on a case by case basis.
Return Policy
All sales are final and items cannot be returned or refunded in case you suddenly change your mind. All packages are carefully packed with backing boards, boxes or cushion wraps to be as safe as possible. Once the item is shipped, we are no longer responsible for the handling of it.
However, on special cases that the item arrives damaged and is proven to be a neglect on my end, I will replace it with no additional charge to the buyer. Please contact me within 24 hours after receiving the item with photos of proof of damage. Please note that only print items can be replaced. Original artworks on the other hand, cannot be returned or replaced as they are one of a kind.
Terms & Conditions
By ordering any of Van Adel's products, you agree to be bound by these terms & conditions.
By placing an order at Van Adel Belgium, you warrant that you are at least 18 years old or have parent's permission to buy from us.
Events outside Van Adel Belgium's control shall be considered force majeure.
The price applicable is that set at the date on which you place your order.
Please note that local charges such as custom taxes may occur and will be shouldered by the buyer once package reaches his/her country.
Privacy Policy
All personal information you provide us with or that we obtain will be handled by Van Adel Belgium as responsible for the personal information.
Card information is transmitted over secure SSL encryption and is not stored.
Van Adel Belgium reserves the right to amend any information above without prior notice.
